This was a lovely project to do. It came from a MkII T6 Harvard. It came as an empty, filthy panel, but all original, but covered in what looked like Arizona desert-caked dust. 
I began by cleaning it and assessing the condition of the paint. The front flip down panel had all the original placards in place and they were in good condition. I did strip the paint on both panels, the rear was flat black and the front was a crackle finish, that was a challenge but I was very happy with the result.
I sourced all correct instruments, and it was finished off with the panel mounts. 
A really fun project, and another one it would have been lovely to have kept.
