This really is a rather special item. It's not often one comes across a 62A with it's original box and in this condition.
The Type 62A GEE Mark II Indicator Unit was used by numerous heavy bombers during the war where it was essential in the overcast skies. Late in the war, GEE combined with a system of radar beacons (known as GEE-H) allowed the bomber crews to attack their targets without seeing them.
